A Collaborative Voice for Nature

The Cape Fear Arch is a special geologic feature stretching from Cape Lookout, NC to Cape Romain, SC that contains nationally significant animal and plant communities.

Created in 2006, the Cape Fear Arch Conservation Collaboration is a partnership of organizations and individuals interested in protecting this region while balancing the needs of man and nature.

Its mission is to develop and implement a community conservation vision to build awareness, protection and stewardship of the region’s important natural resources.

CFEDC (Cape Fear Economic Development Council) Presents: Tunes in the Town – The business of music in the Cape Fear Region.

Join the CFEDC at Satellite Lounge (120 Greenfield Street, Wilmington) on the evening of August  27 and examine the impact of music in the area, the successes of the local venues, attracting talent to this region and the incredible local artists who live, perform and produce here. Local music is an important economic driver and a key part of our economic identity–one that’s often overlooked.

The event will be moderated by John Staton from the Star News, with special guests panelists Beau Gunn, Program and Music Director of The Penguin; Chris Lee, Owner Pipeline Event Management; Richard Leder, Executive Director of the Brooklyn Arts Center; and James Ethan Clark, Carolina Music Awards Best Rock Male Artist.
